Pugwash Gathering of the Clans

Antigonish Highland Games The Antigonish Highland Games is the oldest continuing event of its kind in North America. During the second full week in July, Columbus Field comes alive as hundreds of pipers, dancers and athletes perform and compete in this grand festival. 3 full days, a celebration of the Scottish Culture.

Tatamagouche Film Festival The festival will be held in the Tatamagouche Centre at the height of the fall colours - a new event planned for 2006.

Pictou Lobster Carnival

Read by the Sea - River John, Pictou County A day-long literary festival. Featuring well known authors who will read from their recent works. The day is rounded off with a barbecue and open mic event.
